Fronius Battery Chargers - Packed with features
The key benefit of Fronius chargers is their energy saving capabilities, but they are also packed with many other useful features which set them apart from other chargers.
Self adjustment:
A properly specified Fronius charger can cope with any battery voltage from 24v to 80v and once connected, it will self-select the appropriate output. You can even manually adjust it to charge a single 2v cell if required. No other charger can do this.
Charge Profiles:
Fronius battery chargers can charge wet lead-acid, Gel, AGM and even lithium-ion batteries, all by adjusting the built-in factory profiles. Many other features can be simply enabled or adjusted, so one charger really can do it all.
Clear LED Indication:
Coloured LEDs show the charge status, but an optional LED strip right across the front panel gives a clear indication of status, even from a distance. Great news for busy charging bays with multiple units.
Digital Display:
Displays a great deal of important data simply by scrolling through an easy to navigate menu system.
USB Port:
Comprehensive charge data can easily be downloaded via the built-in USB port and analysed using free software.
Software updates can also be easily carried out via USB transfer.
Compact Size:
Fronius chargers are incredibly compact and can be wall mounted using supplied brackets. This not only saves valuable space, but also keeps the chargers safely out of harm’s way.

One of the most exciting innovations in battery charging in recent years comes with the fantastic Fronius range.
Using Ri Technology, a unique feature of the Fronius charger is its incredible energy efficiency, which will save an operator a huge amount in the running costs of their fleet and will prolong the lifespan of the batteries.
Ri Technology
Whereas a normal 50Hz or high frequency charger will be selected with a specific output and will try to deliver that output to the battery during recharge, the Fronius Ri system continuously measures the internal resistance of the battery and adjusts its output from a defined amount, to whatever the battery can actually accept at that time.
As a result of this process, far less heat is generated within the battery, which means they require less maintenance and provide a prolonged lifespan, but the key benefit is that no power is wasted generating heat, thus the electricity consumption compared to a normal charger, is greatly reduced.

Remember, when you reduce electricity consumption, by default you also reduce the amount of CO2 your business is responsible for producing and in this environmentally aware age, that is particularly important.
