With higher year-on-year electricity prices, the cost of replenishing your forklift battery’s energy is increasing. Ecobat Battery can offer a complete, cost-saving and energy-efficient solution with our Vertu brand. Alternatively, you can use forklift batteries from brands such as TAB or Lucas, in conjunction with our high frequency chargers, to keep your running costs to a minimum.
We are able to demonstrate actual savings using real-time costs, to show a reduction in energy consumption per kwh, along with reduced CO2 emissions. These savings can be considerable and, in many cases, can make new equipment cost neutral.
Range and Service for Forklift Truck Batteries
Traditionally, electric pallet trucks, reach trucks and counter balance forklift trucks utilised traction batteries as their source of power. Traction batteries are made up of several individual cells, all linked together to form a forklift battery. Each individual cell produces 2-volts and normally, trucks operate at 24v, 36v, 48v, 72v or 80v. Therefore, you will have 12, 18, 24, 36 or 40 individual cells in the battery container.
We use extremely high-quality materials, alloys and oxides of high purity (99.97%), allowing low internal resistance to give optimum constant power during the battery’s working life.
Wide Choice
All our robust, heavy duty tubular forklift batteries are designed to reach at least 1500 cycles at 80% depth of discharge, according to EN/IEC 60 254-1.
We have a wide production program, which covers the full range of DIN (EPzS) and BS (PzB) cells and our batteries are of the highest quality, delivering greater capacity, longer life and ease of maintenance, ultimately resulting in greater savings through high efficiency.
Alternatively, we are able to offer lithium ion batteries as a fast charge, readily available alternative. Whilst not suiting every application, lithium does offer a valid alternative for selected applications.
