u003cpu003eu003cpu003eJimmy Herring is the President and CEO of Ecobat, after joining the company in February of 2016 and first serving as the Group Controller, CFO, Corporate Secretary, and Managing Director of Ecobat Austria and Germany.u0026nbsp;u003cbr /u003eu003cbr /u003ePrior to Ecobat, Jimmy spent 25 years with Alcoa in multiple corporate and divisional roles. Jimmy completed his tenure in Alcoau0026rsquo;s Titanium and Super Alloy Aerospace division based in Michigan. Before his assignment in Michigan, he spent four years with the Rolling Mill Division and corporate in Pittsburgh, and four years prior to this, he helped to lead the Worldwide Alumina division in Pittsburgh and New York City. In 2000, he joined Alcoau0026rsquo;s corporate office to support the companyu0026rsquo;s three-year global ERP implementation of Oracle. He spent his first eight years with Alcoa in the Packaging Division in Frankfurt, Germany; London, England; and Indianapolis, IN. u003cbr /u003eu003cbr /u003eJimmy accepted a permanent position with Alcoa in Germany in 1991, following his six-month internship to fulfill his MBA program. Jimmy received his MBA in International Business at the University of South Carolina. u003cbr /u003eu003cbr /u003eJimmy was born in Speyer, Germany. He lived in Germany on and off for 13 years before pursuing his university education in the US at Appalachian State University, where he became the first member of his family to earn a university degree with a triple major in Banking, Economics, and Finance.
